A Story of Reciprocity
At Root Cause Farm, we know the produce we grow provides more than just physical nourishment — it brings people together around the simple joy of growing and giving. This spring, we invite you to support a place that cultivates community health through reciprocity.
For Lisa and Eric*, the farm has become a place where their family is both nourished and connected. After their daughter Hannah was born, volunteering became a way to show her the value of caring for others. "It has been amazing to watch Hannah go from playing in the garden to truly contributing," Lisa shared. "The garden and the people we have come to know have become a weekly touchstone in her life."
The power of this reciprocal relationship became even clearer after Hurricane Helene. Lisa and Eric not only volunteered but also received fresh produce in the days after the storm. Lisa reflected, “It was beautiful to see how the support came from within our community. We received food but felt nourished on many levels.”
Since the storm, the number of folks receiving food at our Share Markets has nearly doubled — evidence that the nourishment and community connection we provide is more important than ever.
Resilience grows through relationships. At Root Cause Farm, we see every day how strong community ties help us weather life’s storms—both literal and figurative. Your generosity sustains this work, providing fresh produce and a welcoming space where neighbors uplift one another.
This Spring, your contribution strengthens our presence as a place where everyone is welcome to give, to receive, and to grow together.
With heartfelt thanks,
Sedona & Jon
